Retro Wednesday: More TV Gold
I love TV, Especially TV Themes. I admit it, I used to watch so much TV growing up. It kept flooding in with shows from USA and I couldn’t get enough. Do you remember ALF? The little furry alien? He was huge back in Norway and had an awesome theme. Then of course there was 21 Jump Street starring Johnny Depp with a cheesy but cool intro song. One of my favorite shows of all time was Star Trek The Next Generation. I grew up watching TNG which made me a true believer and has watched every Star Trek show after that. Here’s an embarrassing fact about me. I used to watch shows like Beverly Hills 90210. Of course everyone did at the time, maybe even you? We never talked about it in school of course. Beverly Hills 9..? Never heard of it. Cool intro though! Last but not least, there was X-Files. I remember the buzz and excitement, as for me I didn’t get to see it before season 2 or 3 simply because I didn’t have the TV channel it was on. Once I started watching it though I was a believer. The new X-Files movie is coming soon and I can’t wait to see Mulder & Scully back together again. You might want to check out The X Videos which is a cool site about X-Files. Enjoy!

Ah yes, I even do the occasional Captain’s Log impersonating Picard himself :P. I’m really excited about the new X-Files movie. I just want to see Mulder & Scully back together. There was still a lot of unanswered questions when the series ended and I hope I can get some kind of closure.
Hehe What about Richard Grieco? He only played a few episodes, but I always think of him. Speaking of 21 Jump Street. I see there’s a movie called that coming in 2010. The return of Grieco and DeLuise?

Thanks for that one. Star Trek TNG was a great theme and a great show (well the first few years at least). I had the whole Picard monologue memorized - still do! X-Files was a nice blast to the past. I’m hoping the new movie does the series justice, though I doubt it will be about in-bred yokels - one of my favorite eps ever!
I wonder what Peter DeLuise thinks every time he sees Johnny Depp’s latest film debut?
