Alexandre Desplat was the big winner at this years World Soundtrack Academy Awards.
He won the esteemed award Composer of the Year in addition to Best Film Score of the year.
This has been an impressive year by Alexandre Desplat who has composed for more than 10 movies and his latest score to New Moon from the Twilight saga is yet to be released. Interestingly Carter Burwell won the Public Choice Award for his score Twilight.
