5. The Day the Earth Stood Still (Tyler Bates)

An interesting score by Tyler Bates. It’s experimental at times, but has some good theme work.
4. The Spiderwick Chronicles (James Horner)

A slightly disappointing James Horner score if you really like him like I do. Still one of the year’s best in fantasy.
3. Journey to the Center of the Earth (Andrew Lockington)

A fun and entertaining score by Andrew Lockington who also did City of Ember.
2. The Forbidden Kingdom (David Buckley)

[asa default3]B001CHH71U[/asa]
Entertainment is the name of the game and this Chinese sounding fantasy movie score has you entertained from start to finish.
1. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Harry Gregson-Williams)

[asa facts]B0015HZAP2[/asa]
[asa default3]B0015HZAP2[/asa]
What can you say about Harry Gregson-Williams? He always seems to get it right, at least part of it and with the sequel to the first Narnia movie, he goes for a darker, more moody score which works and sounds great!
