Yeah, it’s not the kind of score Zimmer usually makes, but judging from these 4 cues it will be nice background music but highly forgettable.
I think Zimmer is taking steps towards a new sound for himself, more focused on mood over melody, and although this may be a rather obvious attempt at this, it’s a necessary step towards revamping his style. I like it! great mood!

I recently heard the full album, but I am not sure what to think. I like Zimmer best when he does great themes like Madagascar or Gladiator for example. I shouldn’t be such a theme-monger, but I have to admit I like it and Frost/Nixon lacks a strong theme.
Salve Everyone!, could anyone of you be so kind to clear my mind about this: I watched the movie trailer and it seemed to me that I was listening to a track performed by “The Who” but I can’t seem to find it on the song titles in this soundtrack, does anybody know the name of the song? Thank you, any answer will be gladly received.

Nah, it’s quite good for a political thriller movie, which are usually dull, and this score sounds like a bit dull and monotonous also.
