Saw V Official SoundtrackOctober is the month of Halloween and we all know what that means, right? Horror movies and horror scores! One of the biggest movies this Halloween is Saw V. I bet you’re rolling your eyes at all the sequels, but they sure are spinning the PR machine. On the way home today I Saw the movie poster plastered over all buses and I think this might be the most successful in the series. Charlie Clouser returns as composer as he has done for Saw up to Saw IV. He is a very talented horror composer and I look forward to hearing his contribution. It doesn’t appear that there will be any score release of this soundtrack and it will be a digital only release. By the way, this is not the official cover design, just something I mocked up using the official movie posters. The release date of Saw V the soundtrack is October 21st and this is the official track list:

  1. Charlie Clouser - Trap Attacks
  2. Testament - True Believer
  3. Ministry - Death And Destruction (Remix)
  4. Filter - What’s Next (The Blood and Sand Mix)
  5. The Almighty - Thanks Again, Again
  6. Prong - The Banishment
  7. Die Krupps - The Dawning Of Doom
  8. Clutch - Power Player
  9. Skinny Puppy - ugLi
  10. William Control - Strangers
  11. Emilie Autumn - Unlaced
  12. Fixmer/McCarthy - Blood And Music
  13. The Revolting Cocks - Wizard Of Sextown
  14. Funker Vogt - Date Of Expiration (Expired)
  15. Charlie Clouser - What It Takes

So what I have prepared for you my friends are a playlist of 7 of these songs, so you can listen to what it’s all about. I can promise lot of heavy metal and if you like this, you can already look forward to October 21st when it’s coming out. Here are the 7 tracks:

Just in case you haven’t heard Charlie Clouser’s contribution to Saw IV, here’s a cue called “Hello Zepp”. Enjoy!

October is Horror Month. Yes!! Who doesn’t love horror and who didn’t think the first SAW was inventive? I always noticed the SAW theme at the end of the movies, when the music swelled with the climax.
