Hi everyone, I just need a little input from you on what sorting method I should use for the Upcoming Scores page? Do you want Firstname Lastname like it is now or Lastname, Firstname like a Rolodex? You decide!
What sorting method should I use for composer name?
- Lastname, Firstname (Example: Williams, John) (50%, 12 Votes)
- Firstname Lastname (Example: John Williams) (46%, 11 Votes)
- Not sure (4%, 1 Votes)

Perhaps it is, but I still like the Firstname Lastname way of sorting. imdb.com does it as well. anyway I’ll let the poll decide 
When I think of John Williams I think of John Williams. I don’t think of Williams, John unless I am in a library and need to use the card catalog system.
It’s not like this is a yellow pages. Worse comes to worse regardless of the order if I need to find something fast I use CONTROL + F
I think the composers should sort by Lastname (and then by firstname). So you find David, Randy and Thomas adjacent. By the way IMDb also sorts by lastname! That does not mean that the name ist written Lastname, Firstname. I mean only it should be sorted by Lastname.
The list should look like (for example):
W
Michael Wandmacher
Stephen Warbeck
John Williams
Debbie Wiseman
Is the list dynamicly generated and sorted or are you doing it directly in HTML code?

Thanks Fox, I agree on that one.
Tobias: Personally I would be very confused by such a layout. Why would M, S, J and D be under W as I never look at the last name first. The only way this would make sense if I put the Lastname, Firstname like Wandmacher, Michael and Williams, John.
The list is hardcoded by me in old fashioned HTML
