Barack Obama Loves Movie ScoresDid anyone see Barack Obama’s acceptance speech? After the speech the music from the movie “Remember The Titans” played, more specifically “Virginia”, a track I have previously featured here on Soundtrackgeek. The composer is Trevor Rabin and it is truly an inspirational song. Listen to it here:

Excellent pick to close his speech and the convention with. I, too, was definitely wondering what that song/cue was; found out thanks to a thread in the Film Score Monthly forum.

Yeah, it is the perfect song for that occasion, heroic and bold.
