The planets certainly aligned with this movie. The movie itself has everything: great action for the guys, intense romance for the ladies, sweeping vistas, and terrific acting and directing. In high school, my World History teacher showed us a clip from the movie, and offered a prize to whoever could guess what movie it was from (knowing that we were all too young at the time to have seen the movie). I recognized instantly that it was this movie, because of the theme. To this day, I've never seen the movie all the way through, but adore the music. It's absolutely beautiful. I grew up listening to this soundtrack every summer driving from Texas to Tennessee, to Florida, and back to Texas.
