August Rush and Once are great feel good movies and has great soundtracks, well worth the purchase.

Not seen the movie or listened to the soundtrack yet. This was on the recommendations suggested on the August Rush page over at IMDb. So, I may get this movie and then hopefully enjoy the soundtrack, much like yourself.

Falling Slowly is contagious so beware! I think I am starting to getting over that now, but still sing it from time to time. Say it to me now is great, I love it when he sings it with full intensity. Singing isn’t my greatest gift either, so I keep the singing to myself hehe.

This soundtrack is perfect, personally. Then again, I love folksy music (which is insane, as I hated it growing up). My favorites are Falling Slowly (of course), When Your Mind’s Made Up, Lies, The Hill, Leave, and Say It to Me Now. I absolutely love the harmony between Glen & Marketa, makes for beautiful listening AND singing along.

I loved it so much I’ve taught myself how to play Falling Slowly AND The Hill on the piano. If only I could sing well, but I can’t. So I get people to sing along for me

I think the scene where they record When Your Mind’s Made Up is my favorite, so I of course love that song on the CD. Just caught Hansard and Irglova last night in Portland and they were fantastic. Posted a review at http://isorski.blogspot.com/ – check it out.

I am still humming to the songs. “Falling Slowly” was my favorite when I wrote this review, but I have to say I love the powerful singing in the last track “Say It To Me Now”. A brilliant soundtrack.
