Congratulations to Ilan Eshkeri to win the award of Breakout Composer of the Year at the CUE Awards. Well deserved! His Stardust score was one of my favorites last year.

300 won the award of Best Cover Art. I can’t disagree here either. Great stuff!

Best Cue on Album: Up Is Down by Hans Zimmer (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End).
Another worthy winner in my opinion. It wasn’t great just on the Album, but in the film too.

Best Cue in Film: Shooting Star Sequence by Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust)
I was really hoping this would win. I remember when watching the movie and thought to myself: Wow, what wonderful music! I quickly got the album, and it didn’t disappoint. Seems like a big year for Ilan Eshkeri and Stardust.
