Spider-Man 3 by Christopher Young is the disappointment of 2007

Spider-Man 3 by Christopher Young has been awarded the not so flattering award Disappointment of the Year by the CUE awards. I voted for this as well, as it is my disappointment of the year too. In happier news…
Stardust by Ilan Eshkeri has been awarded Surprise of the Year by the CUE awards. Again, it was my vote as well. The movie was also a great surprise to me and the score was just fun and brilliant.
Eastern Promises by Howard Shore has been awarded Best Score Missed by Oscar by the CUE awards. This one I don’t agree with, but then again I am more of a fan of his work on Lord of the Rings which is a completely different style and sound. Of the nominees I voted for Elizabeth: The Golden Age by Craig Armstrong and A.R. Rahman which I thought was really amazing.
More CUE awards will be announced daily and I will of course give you the latest news with my comments to the awards…
