I’m amazed so many people bought the Juno soundtrack. It works for the film, but I can’t imagine listening to it over and over again…

I compare it to Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. It’s a cult classic. By the way, I still listen to Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs ;). I wonder if I will be listening to Juno still, 10 years from now.

I have the Pulp Fiction soundtrack myself. Quentin Tarantino has a keen ear for soundtracks that leave an impression. I guess it has more to do with musical preferences — I’m not a huge fan of folky music and wouldn’t be able to sit through it without the accompanying film.

That is true, but that can change. I recently listened to the soundtrack of Step Up 2: The Streets, a movie I have never heard of It’s a dance movie with only hip-hop and R&B songs on it. I am not a fan of the genre… yet I love this soundtrack. I guess nothing is for certain anymore. Review is coming up shortly.

I have been a huge fan of the three LOTR scores since the first time I saw a featurette on the Collector’s Edition with Howard Shore explaining the themes… I still rock out to ROTK’s big Gondor moment with the full orchestra.

I love the LOTR scores, especially the Uruk-Hai sequences. Aah, I want to listen to them again when I get home now. Thanks for the comment!
