Great Songs: Hans Zimmer - Red Warrior (The Last Samurai - 2003)

The Last Samurai is such a great movie and it has a great soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. This song and “A Small Measure of Peace” are my favourite tracks from this album. Red Warrior is a special track, as it changed character 3 times within the sing itself which is about 4 minutes long. Listen to the beautiful start, the powerful strings and then it takes off at around 1:20, and this is my favourite part with all the warriors chanting, I love it. It fills me with honour and pride whenever I hear it, makes me go out there, draw my sword and into battle. Then it changes character again around the 2 minute mark, and it goes into a more frantic tone. Listen to this song and tell me what you think.

Hans Zimmer makes some great music. My favorite one is Nyah. From Misson Impossible 2! Love that song!
