Hi Becky,

That would be Kimya Dawson - Loose Lips

"so if you wanna burn yourself remember that I LOVE YOU
and if you wanna cut yourself remember that I LOVE YOU
and if you wanna kill yourself remember that I LOVE YOU
call me up before your dead, we can make some plans instead
send me an IM, i'll be your friend"

Great song by the way.

Hmm, interesting. Well, i can relate to you. A lot of movies are like that for me. Sometimes the soundtrack is great within the movie, but outside of it you can't find much pleasure in it. The human brain is complicated so I won't try to find an explanation to why it "works" for some people and not for others.

I did like the movie a whole lot...I am mixed about the sound track though. I wonder if this is just me or it happens to a lot of people. I liked the soundtrack according to the movie but not really a big fan of just listening to it outside on my ipod. It is/was just not my cup of tea. Just wanted to get my two cents in.

I was on the fence about this soundtrack since it had so many folksy songs on it. After listening to it, I have to admit, it is quite good. I'll have to make it a part of my permanent collection now.

I had not heard or The Moldy Peaches and Kimya Dawson before Juno, and i love it when i "accidentally" discover music from watching a movie or a TV series. The music was made for this movie and vice versa. Happy it works out for Kimya Dawson who would be just another unknown person in the music world if it hadn't been for Juno.

Ellen to win the Oscar and Juno for Best Picture. I couldn't have said it better myself. I want it to happen, but I don't dare to believe it. Here's hoping!

First of all, I meant to say "later". *oops*

Me too, quirky is great, and Juno knew just how much to utilize without going overboard. I loved “The Moldy Peaches” and Kimya Dawson before I knew about Juno, and I think it is great that their/her popularity has grown a lot over the least few months.
I wish Ellen would win the Oscar this year, but I don't think it will happen. Imagine if Juno won Best Picture, it would be one of the few that have won and managed to have a best-selling soundtrack.

I would be glad to have you ;)

Jed: It's quirky, original and just feels refreshing. Ellen Page made the movie in my opinion, but the other characters added so much flavor to an already delightful movie.

Nick: I love quirky! That's not a negative word in my vocabulary at least not when it comes to Juno. I'm really happy you enjoyed it Nick, your blog is great. I will be a regular there for sure.
